How to install Enterprise Server patch

Follow these steps to uninstall Enterprise Server patch:

* Close Enterprise Server
* Launch command prompt as administrator
* Go to Enterprise Server installation folder
* Locate file with UnPatch{VersionNumer}.bat file
* Run it

Choose Yes to proceed with patch uninstallation

Once the batch file terminates, run Enterprise Server as administrator.

Note: Never run the patch file from Windows Explorer.

Transcend Installation and Uninstallation command line parameters

Following are the list of parameters supported by Transcend installer/uninstaller (version 3.5 and above only):

Install:

msiexec /i “msi path” [PIDKEY=key] [WORDPLUGIN=YES|NO]

PIDKEY – Transcend license key
WORDPLUGIN – If supplied, it decides whether LegalCraft Transcend Word Plugin should be installed or not

Silent installation can be performed by adding /quiet paremeter (standard MSI property)

msiexec /quiet /i “msi path” [PIDKEY=key] [WORDPLUGIN=YES|NO]

Uninstall:

msiexec /x “msi path” [REMOVEDATA=YES|NO] [REMOVESETTINGS=YES|NO]

REMOVEDATA – If supplied, decides whether user data should be deleted or not.
REMOVESETTINGS – If supplied, decides whether Transcend settings to be deleted or not

Caution: Deleting User data or settings cannot be undone.

/quiet parameter is supported during uninstallation also

How to install Transcend on Macintosh

Follow these steps to install Transcend on Mac machine:

• Download the Transcend DMG file from LegalCraft Download center

• Press Apple + Space and type Applications in the spotlight

• Choose Applications folder from the drop-down list

• Open the downloaded Transcend DMG file by double clicking the file

• Sometimes, this will create a mounted folder on the Desktop named “Disk Image”.  Open the “Disk Image” folder

• Drag-drop the Transcend.app file to Applications folder

• Once the file is copied, press Apple + Space and type Transcend the spotlight

• Choose Transcend from the drop-down list

 

System configuration for Transcend Suite

Courtroom Server:

Minimum Configuration:

– Any PC with a Network Adapter
– 2 GB RAM, 2 GHz processor speed
– Windows XP Service Pack 3.

Recommended configuration:

– Intel Core2 Duo, 2 GHz processor speed or more
– 2GB DDR2 RAM or more

After installing iTranscend, why does Windows sometimes prompt to restart?

Windows 2000 and later do not allow any ActiveX control to be replaced when in use. iTranscend is an ActiveX control. If Windows considers the ActiveX control to be in use, you will receive the above message.

Generally, you can safely ignore this message (by choosing No) and continue with your work. If this message persists, restart your computer.
